Pipes

From a geometrical point of view, a pipe is a closed hollow solid with a constant section shape and area. They are usually used for fluid conveyance.
Our pipes have a wide range of diameters and are made with several different materials, for the conveyance of water and aggressive fluids (acids and bases).
However, because of their geometrical characteristics, pipes are light structures (hollow) and have a high moment of inertia, they are therefore suitable for structural applications, especially columns under compressive load. That’s why certain types of plastic pipes are used also for mechanical applications.
